| | | Beautiful, as always. How do you find these places? I love the ear shot. How do you get such fantastic tonal range? Even though your shots are almost all in B&W, the pictures always look so rich and dynamic.

They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn! |

| | | If you want to see how this round "Cow Killing Machine" operates, go to petatv.org and look for Agri Processors videos. Before you start watching, though, make sure to sit down and have a big vomit bag in front of you.

| | | Now this is an interesting place. I've been in a chicken processing plant during normal operation before and it left me with a strange awe struck feeling. I think this could be one of the few times an abandoned building smells better than it did when it was open. --- Just noticed this was in the critique section. I think the first four are wonderful, I really wouldn't change a thing. The last one had me looking at it for a while trying to figure out what was going on and which way was up. Not sure if that's necessarily a problem, but it did throw me off at first. [last edit 7/16/2008 11:12 PM by pezking4 - edited 1 times]

| | | Since this is the critique section and all, here it goes... Overall the set is very fine. You know what you did well, so I'll let you know what I didn't like as a photo newb. 1) Perfect! 2) After a couple views of this one, the brightness of the windows in the upper middle-left has begun to distract me. But how else would you have been able to take that shot? 4) Very interesting to look at. It offers a lot. But one thing, where is this? Was that thing about you? Ground level? Below you? Levitating? 5) It's so dark and reflective that it took me awhile to figure out what I was looking at. Though on the other hand, props on not doing the typical 'long lonely hallway' shot.

very true! I've watched some of those movies to see what place i've visited and what all the machines where for....i don't recommend it!
@ pezking4: i think you might be right because the smell wasn't that bad. But i've never been in an active one so i can't compare. But there might be something wrong with my smelling abilities because when i went draining i had no problems with the smell.
@ Trent Reznor: thanks for the critique! I'm still very happy with #1. The rest.....mwah....not so anymore to be honest. I agree with you that in #2 the blown outs in the upper part are quite irritating. About #4: levitating it is dude! #5 was one of those try-outs. In the end i think it isn't good enough.
