| | Central B.C.? Looking for anything... < on 8/27/2007 7:37 PM >
| | | I'm mainly a photographer, completely fascinated with UE and love old stuff. I'm based in Kamloops and have been in and around Padova City many times, but was wondering if anyone knew of anything or anywhere within an hour of two of Kamloops OTHER than the Tranquille property that could be explored and or photographed? Anything old, abandoned, etc. Thanks in advance.

| | | There's gotta be a mine or railway tunnel/camp somewhere.

| | | hey, not sure if ur still interested in finding a place still, but this summer i made a trip to Sorrento, BC in the shuswap, which is about an hour or so away from kamloops i believe. Anyways me and my friend drove by an abandoned site, actually a house which turned out to be really cool. It is between salmon arm and sorrento, right on the side of the main highway, but hidden in lots of trees. we went inside, theres an upstairs an attic i think (didnt go there), a shed in the back a kitchen and bathroom. it wasnt explored to much, there wasnt any garbage or to much graffiti so it made good pictures.. thought id let you know. heres a picture

How is this even 'exploration'? It's a loving house you've already been in you weirdo!

| | | I know of the house you speak of. It is worth the stop and the photos. Watch for traffic. People drive threw pretty quick so pulling off if the only part of difficultness.
