| | | Are the windows sharp in the horizontal one? I know the floor is probably your focus, but since the windows are the brightest part of the image and the floor is very subtle, everyone's going to look straight at the windows first, and the fact that they're not sharp in the vertical one kills it. So, I'd say use the one with the windows at their sharpest. And yeah, straighten out that bad boy.
yep. |

| | | I don't really like either of them, but if I had to choose one it would be the first.

If it can be strengthened out, then the horizontal one. The windows are also slightly overexposed. The horizon stresses the windows less, because they're thinner.

| | | so here goes... pic1. for me this picture is all about the ribbon window first. As everyone else has said it needs to be straightened out first... they both do actually. the second pic for me is all about the grass and the shadows. still needs to be straightened, and maybe a little more of the left side so far if you cropped the image...
I guess i would choose the image oriented vertically, as the best, but would like to have been able to seen the wall to the left as well. maybe move your tripod over that direction next time...
good luck...

| | | Thanks for the insight guys! I guess shame on me for using a cheap tripod. The windows were bugging me a lot.And the fact that there a little blown out makes it worse.Im going to dabble in photoshop a bit and see what I can do. Thanks again I really appreciate it.
