| | | whatever you are trying to do to mask out the blown out white parts just ends up making the image look "wrong" 1 is pretty cool, especially showing the lone figure for scale but the photo is just middle ground, there is no contrast / highlights to it at all. just looks flat.

| | | Yeah, I'm not sure about whatever technique it is that's being implemented to try to achieve an even exposure (if that's what's going on?), it's causing noticable patches of oddness, like the darkness of the sky top right in pic 1, and the similar areas of odd colour/darkness on the generators in the immediate foreground in pic 4. Is it HDR? Multiple exposures? This location has been in the database on UER for a while, here: http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=24715 You could add another gallery perhaps from your trip, as no one else seemed to have bothered to visit the place until some recently. Can't think why it went unvisited as it's an awesome location. Cheers, JD

| | | I really like 17 & the colors in a lot of them are really interesting, like in 6, 12, and 24. I just wish 4 wasn't crooked, it would look even better then.

| | | I like the idea of all of these pictures, but to me something seems kinda off. It is not something i can exactly put my finger on, but there is something kinda unsettling about this set. This is a cool location, and some of these are interesting shots, but there is something about it that i just dont understand. sorry i dont know more to tell you exactly what is going on. there are plenty of smarter people here that will be able to tell you in a second.

| | | well 6 has only had the curve adjusted. I will have another go at these and come back with other results the first one is HDR, the sky was grey/white that day so was a bit boring.

| | | Most were just shot at awkward angles. They're dark in a debilitating way, and then the contrast drowns out detail. I can't stand 4 because it had so much potential for colour and mood. Unfortunately the saturation is too extreme and artificial. The only one acceptable in this set presented in my opinion would be number 17, but it is not at all spectacular.

| | | Nice set! You've got my kudos. It is very stylized, and it appeals to me. Not 100% sure why, but it is very different and very cool!
