| | | If you're looking for critiques on specific photos, it is best not to post your entire photo album.

| | | VERY NICE!!! I'm very impressed!! Contrast looks great on the b&w ones and the colors are very bright in the others! The only thing i dont like is the extra effects you put on 17 and 18, not for the location anyway.. These places need to be shown how they really look!!! Beautiful set though!!!

| | | I would have to agree with Yokes. If you are looking for detailed critiques on each individual picture you should probably follow the guidelines http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=31637

| | | Posted by robdobi the photoshop filters in 17 and 18 GOTTA GO. the selective coloring on the flower photo screams "i just got my hands on photoshop" as well, do away with that.
|

| | | around here, many people are anti-photoshop when it comes to UE pics. if you poke around on the photo boards, you will quickly notice the trend. some photography forums online are that way as well. purists! might be better in the future to post a main core gallery, then sneak underneath a few more but title the section something like "just playing with photoshop a little." but i think you should do whatever makes you happy. be creative. just know that when you post on these boards people may spring forward and be scornful toward noticeable uses of photoshop. i have gotten slack for it before, but i do what i like and take into consideration what everyone says. i like getting everyones input and especially enjoy when someone points out another way i could have shot something (slight shift to the left or right, zoomed in more, focused on another region, etc.) but in the end, i have to like the picture. i shoot for me. and i shoot to try to share what i felt, so others can see through my eyes. dobi is a beast when critiquing, but i think hearing his critiques could be good for anyone on here whose ego can take it. he is "cruel" but he is GOOD. as far as the posting of too many shots issue, maybe just make a "part 1" and "part 2" next time, in two different threads. i enjoyed your photos, and look forward to more. keep them coming, i won't be in europe again until late feb/early march or spring for the next europex and i miss the architecture there. you never did answer me about your system. what camera/setup are you shooting with?

| | | That is a great looking image. i am guessing it is HDR? i am just learning about it, and although it does not really seem to be done right very often it is still very interesting effect. and something i am willing to give a try.
