I just want some slack.

| | | I like the before better. You plugged up all the interesting details with too much midtone and shadow. I think the first one only really needs a slight bump in the blacks just to make sure your blacks are solid black. Less is always better, especially in Photoshop.

| | | Thanks for the suggestion. The main correction I was trying to make was to the film defect in the color photo. It's kind of hard to see because it's a smaller pic, but at the bottom by the stairs there are blue spots from bad processing that I wanted to eliminate while trying to bring out more contrast of the debris and brick.

| | | Looks like a completely different photo! Photoshop is awesome.

| | | Can't say I'm really a fan of the 'after'... there's nothing left to look at! Also the window in the 'before' pic with the light streaming in look more like solid parts of the wall in the 'after' pic. Sure, 'photoshop is awesome' but don't use it to eliminate most of a decent pic... I would have maybe used something like a diffuse glow effect to emphasize the eeriness of the 'before' pic. | | | Ditto on the before. I think it was gorgeous. I do a lot of PS processing, and have been slammed by "real" photographers for my use of fake skies. Ya know what? I DON'T CARE! But, agreed. Shot was GORGEOUS before, and after it's eh. Not enuf for me.

| | | I like the after, its really grainy and raw, I usually don't like black and white... so good job.
Leave only footprints, take only pictures... unless its like really cool. |
