| | | These were taken about a month ago at the old Carnation Factory in Oakland, CA. I'm working with a Nikon Coolpix 5900, not the best, but it works for now. 1.

Is there something wrong with that? Now, I've returned to the forums after a pretty long hiatus, so perhaps this sort of thing is frowned on, but I don't think the fact that I'm taking photos of graffiti here makes the pictures any worse. [last edit 7/26/2006 10:00 PM by Fae - edited 1 times]

| | | It was an honest question. Not all of the pictures I take are of graffiti, it was just that within this batch, they happened to be. I didn't even notice that until after I had posted them, and I'm beginning to regret that.

I think its ok personally. If the picture is well composed with good colors, angles, points of focus, etc it shows you made an honest effort and put some of your own creativity into the photo. I like #1 the best Too bad we only have rattle cans in Michigan...

| | | Holy poster batman! That was a pretty fast reply. But yeah i think its a good set of pictures. I was told in one of my posts to avoid daytime lighting because it gives the picture a bland and flat texture. Try shooting those in the evening and im sure theyll look x10 better.

Truth. I dont know why people hate graff so much. Its so natural and its really not going to ever stop. Might as well make it your friend.
