| | | These are all taken with a Canon T50 with either a 50mm or 28mm lense
If anyone can suggest a way to reduce my lense glare, it would be awesome. With my T-50 though, I can only adjust the F-stops and focus.

| | | Might work in that shot, which I agree with you on, but not on other pictures, go to my website and look at some of the other nike base shots, the glare kinda sucks in other pictures.

| | | Pretty good shots...interesting choice on focus points. you could try a filter or hood to reduce lens glare.

| | | Looks more like a dirty lens to me perhaps even a star filter or other soft focus type filter was left in place accidently. The worthington thingy is the only shot I dont have major problems with. The cracked glass shot is out of focus. The blue room with the chairs is out of focus and the colour does nothing for me, it just looks like a developing error. The one with the streaky flares does make for a neat effect. For me, I dont find much exciting about it, as the centre of attention for me is the streaks, nice colouring, looks spooky, sci fi like. The B+W desk one has nice tones, but limited in subject. My eye keeps getting drawn to the empty space on the desk behind the hole punch. The objects on the desk and angles of the papers falling off the wall all point my eye to the spot. When looking through lens while framing up a shot, look at the lines of attraction in the shot, are converging lines pointing towards nothing? Perhaps if another object was sitting in that one spot is would bring out the shot even if the hole punch was back about 8 inches would do it.
The cubicle area shot is crooked, the wall and emergency light on the left are distracting. The over use of feathering takes away from the shot, makes me want to blink to clear my eyes. The shot can be straightened and cropped but if the original image is all fuzzy/hazy there isnt much other than desaturating it and pretending it is Infrared. The paint peeling one is a bit blown out on the left side, and well, its paint peeling kinda boring subject matter around here.

| | | I thought the peeling paint was overdone, but everyone needs to have a peeling paint shot. That room is indeed blue. The lense was a plain 28mm. No filters at all, and the lense is quite dirty, but i lack the funds to buy a lense cloth. The cracked glass was wicked hard to focus on because it was pitch black, and it came out that way because my friend held up flashlights behind it. I have another shot of the desk room, but it needs to be croped and such, and im not at my computer(im home for spring break) Thanks for the criticism, i'll keep it in mind when i got shooting next, and when I edit the photos.

| | | Low budget lens cleaner... cotton ball and some vodka or rubbing alcohol. Even windex on a tissue will work in a pinch. Just be careful with the amount of fluids you use, dont pour directly onto the lens element as it may leak into the barrel of the lens, then fog up the inside glass.

| | | eeek. don't use windex or other such things. they can ruin the coatings that have been put on your lenses for colour correction and such. if you have stuff to clean glasses, it's the same stuff used to clean camera lenses.

| | | He was wearing them while he took the shots. They were new shoes for him and it was a memorable occasion as he didnt want to get rotting building mung stuck to them. ....or not I have a T70, the next step up from the T50. Both cameras are decent to use once you get the hang of the software that runs them. It took me a bit of time to get used to the short body style though. My t70 still resides in my camera bag and is my B+W body these days. [last edit 3/22/2006 3:19 PM by Mutt - edited 1 times]

It used to be part of one. It's gone under 100's of renovations since it closed. Trust me on this one.
