| | | I think we can have just as much fun with this game and dont have to use sensitive locations, your first post for example the nav lights in Mtn Creek Lake its all about the reference points and backgrounds

That's the fun part for me. I like looking at the background and context to try to figure out where it is. Here's one from me from today.

| | | Ok Folks! Here we go. This one's a toughie for a few reasons. One, it's not in the Metroplex. Two, it's very carefully watch by the local PD and there's a no tolerance policy there for trespassers. If you've been there, you'll recognize this pic and you'll know, without a doubt where it is. Please, do not attempt to get into this building without permission due to the fragile nature of the location and the problem with vandals in the past. I had permission to be there when I took this pic and was escorted by a representative of the owner.
This next one'll be easy if you've ever been there. (No help, Silent Search!)
This one, I know a few of you have been to so you might recognize it right off. Look close now...
The next two are from the same place and I really don't know who may have been there but I'm sure a few have since it's really a pretty kewl place to go...
This last one is gonna be a killer and I don't think anyone will get it. It really could be anywhere but it's a site that's been renovated and reopened so it's no longer available for UEing. When we went through, it was late at night and freaky as hell. We kept hearing footsteps around the place but saw no signs of life there, homeless, animal or otherwise. Dust on the floor was undisturbed as in no footprints to be found anywhere. We kept hearing what sounded like a person moaning every once in awhile and at one point actually heard a scream. There were hot an cold spots that had no apparent source and other things. Like I said, freaky as hell and we were glad to get out.
Have fun with these. Remember, message me direct with your answers and I'll announce the winners as they come in. This is a multi-part quiz so feel free to post more quizzical locations if you want.

Wish I had been on that one! Weirdness always seems to avoid me. Talked to a guy who used to run the paint ball place. He said there were places there he didn't go into. I never once felt creepy while we were in there, other than worried about meeting a crazed homeless dude with a machete! LOL

Same here, I've suggested several people but nothing ever happens.
Allva, good ones. Of course I won't ruin it for anyone else other than - neither of them are in Dallas.

| | | I keep hoping to find a ghost but I think I'm too hard to impress ao they don't bother with me. Cold spots and flickering lights just don't do it after growing up with Poltergeist. I need full apparitions and levitation!

| | | Noah Vale get's the win for pictures 3, 4 and 5. Good work! I need someone to come up with 1 and 6 now. Oh, and on 6, yes, I was with a couple of ghost hunters and we were investigating rumors of a haunting. Didn't find what was rumored to be there (blood splattered walls and body parts) but we did find plenty to make us wonder. No levitation though, sorry. | | | Remember, It's a detective game. You need to have something in the background and/or foreground that can help to define where it is. In my last one, you can just make out downtown over the horizon directly over the evergreen bush 2nd from the right and the terrain and foreground buildings give clues, although it still hasn't been identified.
Whereas this shot tells almost nothing and is no fun.

Well, Duh! What was I thinking? Sometimes Dokk's ol' brain gets rolling and you just can't stop it. Maybe in the wrong direction but it sure get's to churnin' and burnin' sometimes. LOL Photo 6 is a nursing home in Euless that's now active again so it's not worth going into. When it was vacant, there was a rumor that there was a table in the cafeteria/lunch room that was covered in blood and body parts from satanic rituals or something like that. We never found anything like that but we did note evidence that this place was abandoned rather quickly. Patient records still in file cabinets, linens still on the beds, toilet paper still in the restrooms, personal belongings like combs, brushes, hair spray, etc. still in the rooms and things like that. There was even pills in little paper cups on a tray and injectable meds in the fridge (long since dead from no power) in a room behind one of the nurses station. These people evidently unassed this place in a hurry for some reason and no one seems to know why. Photo 1 was taken in the "Brazos Room" at a rather famous abandoned hotel west of the metroplex and that's all I'm saying. It's very carefully watched with a no tolerance policy for trespassers. When the police catch you, they lock you up overnight then fine you in the morning.

NV and I spent the afternoon there last week. It's too bad it's been so vandalized and looted over the years. Still really cool, though.
