I've been to two, both in Miami. I'd like to stay in South Florida, but I'd be willing to travel anywhere to find a good quality abandoned hospital. Does anyone have any names and information that could point me in a good direction?

Sunland in Tallahassee is awesome and has an abandoned lab across the street.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

The old hospital in Plantation, FL (west of Ft. Lauderdale) is currently in the process of being demolished. It's visible from Sunrise Blvd, right behind the middle school. However, the location, state of the building, and the security I've seen at the site would be considered high risk, to me at least.

They are also working on either tearing down or completely renovating some nearby apartment buildings on University. Security seems to consist of some guards regularly patrolling the area.

I've been to Sunland Tallahassee and the WT Edwards Center in Tampa...both were worth the drive, I think! No problems getting in/out of either place, took lots of good photos, etc. For the first time, I ran into other people exploring at the WT Edwards hospital, but unfortunately they weren't uh...quality explorers (smashing glass, doing other stupid, loud things drawing lots of attention). Luckily they left a few minutes after I ran into them.

I went to Sunland once and it was kind of anticlimactic after driving all the way to Tallahassee. It was ok, but don't expect to be blown away. I did find it unsettling that it was right by a police station though.
