You for sure have quite the setup. That’s more than you need imo, that’s enough for a small army. All I rock with is a leather man, a n95 mask that was laying around from covid and a high lumen bike light lol. Plenty of stuff in your bag to keep you safe and exploring. Seems like a good mix between prepared and being able to climb and get into harder spots. One thing I would suggest is a red light of some kind for night explores, helps preserve night vision with an added bonus of throwing off cops/security/bystanders of you being there. Props on the setup!

I usually bring a backpack with a n95 mask, a flash light, gloves, and a water bottle. Do you think that this is enough?

The real question is how confortable are you using your setup?

MrDuck,

It looks good. Don't over think it. Go out on a couple of explores and see how it suits you. You'll know pretty quickly if you need anything else. Figuring out that you want to remove something might take a bit longer. I tend to carry more "just in case" stuff than probably necessary. But then just when I'm thinking about removing it from my backpack, I pull it out and use it for something so I'm glad I didn't get rid of it.

Looks good. I would probably add a red flashlight (that emits a red light lol). It's a lot less noticeable in the dark and your eyes won't need to adjust when you turn it off.

The headlamp has a powerful red light, I use that the most tbh. Good advice though!

I would recommend bringing spare batteries for the flashlight and switching the n95 for a respirator with a p100 filter (3M is a brand that makes high quality respirators and filters. These are the ones I use: https://a.co/d/9g7UtiH and https://a.co/d/5t3fLMK -- if you're in the future and the links die it is a 3M 6200 model half-face respirator and the 3M P100 particulate filter, model 2091).

Regarding batteries, I was exploring once and my battery died on me, never again haha. If it's a special rechargeable battery, you can buy spare ones on Amazon if you can figure out what type of battery it is (sometimes they have specific numbers/letters for a model), but if it's just a regular AA or AAA, then just bring a pack of those and you're good to go. Keep in mind you'll want something low light like your phone flashlight so you have light to be able to switch the batteries out if you happen to be in pitch black.

Keep in mind, if you have a metal water bottle and you are trying to run from police or whatever you need to run from, the sloshing of the water against the walls of the bottle will make a decent noise, or atleast my bottle did, so keep that in mind.

Happy exploring! Feel free to reply or send me a message if you have any questions.

Never used a red light, are they worth the hype?

All red light does is save your night vision, and is more low profile (so outsiders won't see you as easily if you had your light on)

They're basically the same price as white light headlamps, I have a few and they're great

WOW, You really are prepared for the deep underground. You should see all the massive array of stuff I bring into drains (LOL). Good for you. Those flashlights you have there, I have a bunch of those flashlights for my light effects (LOL).

Nice set up. as previously stated to each their own find what works for you. I love multiple light sources and extra batteries. only thing I would add is pouch tuna packet mayo and crackers because it keeps in any weather and will get you through a missed meal or 2.

F this I"m going exploring!

Our kits are fairly similar, though I have a couple things not on your list. Here's a list ordered by what I recommend most to least and best bang for your buck.
A water source, couple protein bars, Pepper Gel (I have Sabre's Crossfire), First Aid Kit (I have the 312 Piece from Costco), good Toilet Paper, Visine, I have an Altair 4XR on the way, and an emergency bivy.

I know a lot of that is overkill, but since I've been mostly solo, I'd rather have them and not need them than to need them and not have them.

I have a regular sized backpack and a 10L Piscifun Dry Bag. I like the look of your Ful backpack and will probably pick one up or something similar. I haven't been anywhere that warrants the use of the Dry Bag yet. I plan to, just waiting on the Altair.

I forgot to mention that I usually wear waders. Mine have a steel shank for the super conveniently placed pokey puncturers you might pass by when you peruse places.
