Yeah, we've had some snow at this winter. And once again my way did take me to this forgotten farm. House was built at 1800. I've been able to dig some information about it's past.
At 1872 70-years old woman, who couldn't take care of herself anymore (they did kind of circle them around the village so everyone did take care of her for sometime) decide to visit one of neighbours at July... which at that time did mean long walk on mostly roadless roads. Gotta mention that just few years before there were lot of wolves all around, and one man on hayfield were attacked by 7 wolves. Luckily he did have axe with him and finally he were able to get out of situation.
But anyway, that old woman did get out and vanish. Her body was found at october from deep, deep into forest. She probably were lost and finally died in hunger.
At 1900 this farm did have:
5 adults, 4 children, 3 horses, 8 cows, 4 heifers, 14 sheeps and 2 pigs. They also did have 4823 hectares of fields and 15 436 hectares of hayfields... or at least places to get hay.
But anyway, after this short look into it's history, here comes the photos from February's 27th day at 2024.
