Hey folks, first time on the forum so excited to start sharing my finds over the years. I'm based in Canada Nova Scotia, so anything in the Atlantic region I'll be sharing. This was an Amusement park that I visited 3 times, once while Security was supposed to be there, a second when there was no security (so all the buildings now had access unlike before) and a last visit where a lot of things were finally being taken away from the park.
The park itself costed around 22 Million if I recall, and eventually closed in 2019. There was a change in ownership, or a deal that didn't go correctly and they ended up not re-opening. This park was well known for having a wooden roller coaster, and people would complain of their necks hurting after riding it. I actually didn't visit this park until it was abandoned. They had various rides, around 14 buildings, and something called an "adventure park" where you could camp and zipline over a river, so lot's to explore. All that remains today is the haunted house and the odd cleared out building. Another great mention was a cone shaped building for laser tag! And a train that took you all around the park.
In my first visit they were supposed to have security, but we never encountered anyone. however, it did appear one building or two might have had activity in it recently. All the buildings were locked up, so we just visited the outside of them and the rides. Once an article came out in our news, they announced no security were at the site due to a lack of pay, and sure enough, it got broken into hard. People would walk their dogs there, and groups of kids/teenagers (like 10-15 per group) would come in smashing everything they could find. This year they started taking down the rides and buildings. I have Videos of two of my visits, which I'll post later! Hope you all enjoy!
