I missed out on doing a year-end thread last year, and I wasn't originally going to do one this year either. But seeing everyone else's put me in the mood. I visited fewer places this year than ever before, but I still ended up with a metric butt-ton of images. I also got back into black and white film in a big way this year, so you'll see that those images feature very heavily. Enjoy!

A rather famous hospital I went through like I was on rails, therefore missing some cool spots.

Easily the exploring highlight of my year, so forgive me if I can't narrow down which photos to post more.

I flew out to Colorado for a friend's wedding in July, and made a loop down through New Mexico afterwards. This is one of my favorite parts of the country, and I loved getting to return with an exploring mindset.

My other big industrial location of the year. It's hard to know what to say about this place, as it's an ugly blot on the landscape while at the same time being extremely interesting and photogenic.

A sprawling car graveyard strewn across a wide area of hillside. It looks like nothing at all from the road, but keeps going and going.

I was lucky enough to get permission to photograph this residential school on a mountain top in the absolute middle of nowhere.

My last location of the year came as a surprise, with a small local museum having a far better collection than imagined, and some lovely decaying goodies tucked out back.
