| | | Location, location, location and lack of money may doomed the USS Ling to the cutter's torch. These assholes increased the costs of repair and moving exponentially if it's even now doable. These war museums run of tight budgets relying on donations and volunteers to operate. https://www.northj...-to-know/95650708/ Many like the historic USS Enterprise CV-6 have been lost because of a lack of funding. It was the most decorated warship in WW2. What chance does the USS Ling have? They killed her.

| | | First of all, RNK's last name is not Hemmberger or whatever. 2nd of all, Rob does not take unnecessary risks. I have collaborated with him numerous times, and he will not go to an abandoned place if there's a high risk of arrest. He has done some incredibly risky explores in the past, but one time he and his wife were almost hit with some serious charges, and he realized he could not risk his entire life for a video, or an explore. He has had a very successful career as a house flipper and a contractor. Furthermore, he has a wife who is a very successful business woman. And he also has a very successful Youtube channel. He doesn't even want trespassing charges, so what makes you think he's going to put his entire life at stake to flood a goddamned submarine? And 3rd, he is not the kind of explorer that vandalizes. He is one of the least hooligan-like explorers I have ever met. He's very calm, collective, and level-headed. I have never seen him do anything that resembles vandalism, and I have explored with him like 20 times. So before you begin posting slanderous material about someone on the internet, you better have your facts straight. Just because you don't like Youtubers doesn't give you the right to falsely accuse someone of a serious crime. Ok, hate on Youtubers, we're the reincarnation of Stalin mixed with trace amounts of Hitler and Idi Amin. But don't try and destroy a man's reputation over some Youtube videos. Stay classy UER. P.S I hope you ever flooded that submarine receives some very harsh punishments. Hopefully since its a former Navy vessel they can rack-up some federal charges or something. And on top of that I hope they get sued for the damage. The one's responsible should receive the maximum penalties under the laws they broke.

| | | Yeah, that's pretty damning. The names match, the locations match, the time frames match, and RNK visited an abandoned submarine right around the time the Ling sank. By the looks of things it sounds like though RNK and co likely did not steal the plaques, they did accidentally flood the Ling by leaving hatches unsecured when they left. At the end of the day it's no different than those "explorers" who light buildings on fire while twirling steel wool- though there wasn't malicious intent, the degree of negligence is so severe that there isn't any practical difference. The theft of the plaques is almost irrelevant compared to the fact they sank a US submarine and destroyed a war memorial. In the face of this evidence, I can't see how RNK could possibly be innocent.
