I'm semi-retired from exploration due to a combination of being stupidly busy, battling multiple major illnesses, and becoming disinterested in a niche that's grown into an international mass of ruin porn. I don't get to shoot for fun often, however with all of my travel, occasionally time, health, and location all matchup. It's not much but this is what I've been up to the past couple of years. Honestly not sure what, if any, abandoned wandering I'll do in the future, but if so, will be sure to share them in 2019.
Hope you are well.
GEORGIA 1. Small office to a derelict grain silo. Had been vacant for a number of years according to the neighbors but surprisingly a number of items inside.
2.
3. While driving between assignments in Georgia, what originally caught my eye were the power lines against the sunset. Upon further inspection there was an abandoned car repair shop and lot buried among the thicket.
4. Gutted out house
5. Out-of-business gas stations are among my favorite things to photograph.
NORTH CAROLINA 6. School was just a bucket list item that many of you have been to before.
7.
8.
9. In my previous visit to this mill, much of the brick walls were still standing. The winter storms must've helped partially collapse more as fresh brick was lying all over the ground during my next visit. Not sure what it looks like now, I recently drove past it at night but didn't bother to investigate. I can't imagine it standing much longer.

11. A couple of familiar local haunts.
12.
13.
14. Dillon Supply got gutted and is currently under construction as a multi-use midrise building. This was literally a couple days before they demolished most of it. The two walls with "DILLON SUPPLY CO" will remain and form the first two stories of the new building.
15. More bucket list stuff on the coast.
16.
17.
SOUTH CAROLINA 18. There were quite a few abandoned facilities in this area that I ventured into but the only one I really photographed was this school.
19.
TENNESSEE 20. Think this was some sort of manufacturing facility, area seems to be under mitigation and may eventually become renovated.

22.
VIRGINIA 23. Small schoolhouse
24.
25. Nearby a couple of my shoots so figured I'd finally let myself in. Not much inside but the stacks were interesting.

WEST VIRGINIA 30. One of several houses I checked out off the interstate this summer.
