| | | Posted by Jonsered If you took some crack with you and threw it at the crackheads, that should give you time to knife a hobo, which should throw the zombies off long enough for you to make an escape. Just thinking out loud......
|
But wouldn't it be more effective to throw like, an annoying preteen girl at the zombies, hand the hobo the smokes, which will cause the meth-lab to explode in a nice action movie fireball? 1.

| | | This was really helpful, thank you! Your information plus a lot of the replies gave me some ideas to add to my list of stuff to bring with me so I don't get dumped in a dumpster out back. I especially enjoyed this: Meth lab tech : They didn't take any product, or nuthin, they just kept taking pictures of the goddam wheelchair out in the hall and getting excited about the peeling paint. Meth lab tech: What is it with these goddamn people and toilets? For fuck's sake, people shit there.

| | | Posted by Captain_Slow ...have a lab set up in the back, and just drive around. As long as the tags are good on the van and the driver doesn't speed, there really is almost literally no way the cops can catch them, because it's illegal to pull people over for no reason...
|
I think your friend was pulling your leg... Meth labs may be hidden inside a van, but they don't just drive around cooking. Cooking meth is really dangerous, and if you don't do it right, it can explode. If you're just driving around, bouncing around, it WILL explode. Not to mention, the process creates extremely toxic gases, that are really noticable. It's hard to be subtle while you drive around in a gas mask, so you don't pass out and crash. Cooking turns the location into a HAZMAT zone. That's why they don't just cook at home in their basements.
Besides, the cops DO need a reason to pull you over... Driving a blacked out van that smells like a meth lab is PLENTY of reason to pull you over.
Breaking Bad is just a TV show.

That's only if you want to produce it in bulk.
Normally I shake and bake some up on my way to the location to share with any meth heads I might encounter.

Right.... and I assume if you're riding around in an A-Team van, rigged up like a chem lab to cook meth, you're doing it in bulk.

| | | Thanks man! Great advice. Cigs to hobos and run like a Kenyan from any crackheads. (By the way this isn't sarcasm, which by the way is a great supply of laughter and entertainment on these forums, and there seems to be plenty to go 'round, so thanks y'all for that haha). But yeh, I'll keep all of this in mind next time I'm in a shady place or confront someone on an expedition. Haven't confronted anyone but some stoners yet at any of these places. Unless if you count ghosts, at Bachelors Grove haha (almost got attacked by a pack of coyotes there 2), which brings me to the somewhat mentally dulled inquiry of what is one to do when confronted by ghosts? Treat em as crackheads? Probably...

| | | I started smoking at 14, and never had a problem with possessing cigarettes. Even smoked in front of cops, without them so much as giving me a dirty look. I have encountered hobo's, crackheads, and scrappers, and had no trouble with any of them. I even ran into a crackhead when I was standing in a room alone, in Newark, and he was more startled than I was. I did have one really strange experience though. I was showing a few friends through a local hospital center. Right as we made it through the tunnels, I heard a noise so we stopped. After turning around to walk up another staircase, the two chicks I was with said they saw a man, bigger than me (I'm 6 ft) just standing there, staring at us from the shadows. I didn't even know someone was there, I was just spooked because we had seen a rabid raccoon dying on our way in, and I thought it may be some other rabid animal. It may have been a resident homeless guy, the only strange part is he didn't say a word to us, just, stared. Every other homeless person I have seen has come right up to me, to ask for money or bum smokes. I still have no idea what the fuck that was about.

| | | Zombie? Haha. But I mean, he could have been mentally off, or just trying to fuck with you, or just scared. Or I mean, if you believe, it could have been a ghost... Hospitals are pretty haunted, another reason they are so awesome to explore. Cool experience though, I would have been freaked a bit.

I don't believe. Ghost hunters said this particular hospital is the most haunted place they have ever been too, which is total crap. I have been there over 200 times and I have never experienced anything ghostly.... what I did experience was open windows, holes in the roof, and various other old building problems, which contribute to 99% of what they claim is evidence. I don't think the person was there to scare us either. I mean think about it, if your going to try to scare someone, don't you usually make a big scene, or jump out at them or something? That's the way the kids in the town the hospital is in do things. Plus, it was like 11:00 in the morning, who is going to get up that early and wait at that one particular spot for people to scare? I resent those who claim hospitals and jails are haunted. If you are trapped somewhere horrible your whole life, why wouldn't you go somewhere else if your dead?

| | | Good advice all around. Most addicts, hobos and scrappers I have run into were friendly enough, mostly they want nothing to do with anybody but some are pretty personable. A couple I have even gotten access info from and bummed smokes too/from while we carried out cheerful conversation. Other times....well, there were some other times.
