| | | Thanks! I'm sad they are sideways but we got pretty good coverage of the place. The website with the old pictures is: http://bobbea.com/expo-86/mcbarge.html We found the conveyer belts they mention in the article but it was really dark, so the pics didn't turn out.

| | | Wow, ze Mcbarge has not held up well over the years since the last expedition. That's some severe water penetration in places! No cops waiting for you on shore? I thought that thing was alarmed to the nines.

| | | Nope, no trouble at all. We had scoped out the place the day earlier, decided to come back in the morning. There was a dude crab fishing with a dingy similar to the ones we were using. We paddled around a bit before entering, some yuppies on a cruiser motor boat came past and jokingly asked if we were hoping to get some burgers as we paddled around the barge. We waited until they were out of sight to get in. The point of entry is obvious, if this place were on land it would get an E rating in terms of accessibility. Here's some video of the trip: http://www.youtube...8AEg&feature=g-upl

| | | A serious lack of grafiti for something that old. Plus all the windows are sorta still there. That's cool I expected there to be squatters on it.
