| | | Love this thread. I know I need to get pics, but just a little story about finding a car. I'm walking through the woods, far off the beaten path, when I trip over a tire. I uncover it to attempt to identify the type of car it came from and how old it is, and realize it's connected to an axle, which is dug deeply into the ground. Upon further investigation, I realize there are bits of this car all around me. I am standing basically where the inside of this old studebaker (I believe,) should have been, if it hadn't been left to sink in the ground for decades and decades. How I got there I don't know, because it's at least a good half mile of thick woods and protected swampland between any roads and there. Based on what I saw it was probably a 30's model, so it had likely been there for 50 years plus.
