I have long lusted after a nice digital SLR, and now having finished college and started my career, it's time for me to get one (and also my current camera just bit the dust). I consider myself a camera novice, having always used relatively basic point-and-shoots, so I'm not looking for a really complex setup with a bunch of peripherals I can't even name or a plethora of lenses--I'd love just the body and a basic lens. I've been looking at Rebels mostly because I've used them before, and I do generally prefer Canon based on previous experience, but feel free to try to persuade me to another brand (nicely!) if you have something different to sell. If anyone has a camera to get rid of and would be interested, I'd love to trade for website and/or graphic design...and I don't mean that "I took a course in color theory and I have a Mac so I'm a luh-git graphic designer" crap, I have a BFA in Fine Arts and I'm employed full-time as a designer; this would be quality work worth well over the value of most cameras. I'd also be willing to pay for the right camera, just thought I'd suggest trade first. Thanks!
