| | | I like the first one better, I've never really had a problem with lens distortion in photos, I think it just adds a little flavour personally. But that's just my preference.

| | | I prefer the second one, but why did you make it B&W? The colours are fine.

| | | First one. Nice play with the contrast of colors. BW just takes that away, besides I think that the essence of BW there is not necessary - forms already dominate the picture in color version.

My wife asked me the same question when I showed it to her. IDK, something about it I like.

Perspective correction crops the image. Cropping the image makes the central part larger ... making the blown highlights more prominent, black and white is more forgiving of blown out highlights. Still, the window in the second looks stretched out, the first is far more "natural" looking.

Agreed. More specifically, boost exposure + fill lights, and then adjust blacks and recovery to fit.

| | | Resounding yes to color. As for distortion, they have different feels. I personally like the uncorrected one because there is so much visual tension on the support beams, which look like they're near splintering under the weight of the walls. The corrected one looks more serene and spacious. I know distortions can look gimmicky a lot of the time, and it might flag as such for a professional photographer, but from an amateur, I kinda dig it in this context.

| | | The first one's great. I don't think I'd dislike the 2nd one if that was all I saw, but compared to the original, I think the original is much stronger.
