Description
Tarred, severed water pipes. I think these supplied water from the tower. They're huge, maybe two feet/half a metre in diameter.

  Yeah, it looks like the company cut the pipes and sealed them off from the system when they abandoned it.

  Looks like they used popsicle stick to make the concrete forms... That is some horrible fit and finish =/.

  Concrete forms were always made of wood back then. But this is very sloppy work regardless.
