I had the good fortune to have lived in this home for 2 years. It was spectacular. In the "watercloset" upstairs there was an old wooden box with a chain that was actually used to flush the original toilet. In the fireplace downstairs in what was the dinning room, there was a cast iron arm to hang a kettle or pot on. The man who rented the home to me was Stanley and Isabelle Picken's son, John Picken. He was a pleasant man. He would be pleased to see all the care and attention this house has received.
