  I wonder how much the guys that painted those walls got paid? Probably not a lot, but in those days they had steady work, lol.

You can see plenty of them (half erased by the time) all over old-Montreal.

  even in verdun, there are a lot for lasalle coke, warmth without waste

  I grew up just down the street from a church that had a Lasalle coke sign hand painted on the walls of the next building. Apartments there today.
