Maybe demo.. but demo costs big money, and who would even bother? It's not like this needs to be cleared away to make space for another building or anything.

It would definitely be a wasted demo. This is a beautiful place and it should be kept.

While I was being kicked off the property the last time I was shooting there (pictures, of course), the maintenance guy said they were getting ready to demo the place and shovel it into a nearby pit they were digging. Apparently, the amount of vandalism is becoming more trouble than the park is worth.

That's dissapointing, this is a REALLY cool looking building. Wish I was anywhere near there so I could see it myself.

Figures. Yes, Lowizle... the cost of renovation would be roughly the same as demo, but bear in mind we're talking about suburban development here.... and not just ANY suburbs, but Phoenix suburbs! Wouldn't want to have some eyesore like this disrupting the endless stucco monotony. Besides, could you picture a Hooters or a Best Buy in this place? Sheesh! I'm just glad you guys got these photos and the story before it's all gone forever.
