Description
The massive fireplace again. To give you an idea, the guy standing in it is 6'10" and weighed around 320 lbs. at the time. Also gives you an idea of the size of the timber.

it was awesome. when i travelled throughout b.c. last year i camped across the sooke river from this place and explored it the day before. it was an awesome place. really huge.. though some of the beams had fallen and the floor busted, it was still a very spectacular place to explore with a beautiful view.

Interesting triva... the late Bruno Gerussi of the Beachcombers actually worked on some of these timbers in the early days.
