  I once sat by a dam like this for 8 hours doing basically ... nothing. The sound of falling water is so relaxing. (unless it's dripping from a tap, then it's nervewrecking)

  right now its crossable, they drain the river in the winter and almost all flow goes through the b'nois dam

  i know in 2000 it was easy, hydro was sort of on strike so then never raised the basins. Funny thing, these dams were a "remediation" measure for the riverains. This part of the river was all but empty save for the small amount of water going through the les cedres powerhouse after they built the newest parts of the b'nois dam
