Description
The guard pier reaching out into Lac St-Louis. This area is very popular with swimmers, boaters and fishermen. Why they allow cars to roam all over this beautiful place, I'll never understand.

  no worse than the road im forced to take daily along the south side of the seaway in kahnawake to avoid traffic while doing my job!

  I dunno about that, n-Y. When I cycled around the west side of the point looking (in vain) for signs of the old canal, I encountered about 10 of the world's biggest potholes... puddles the entire width of the road! I think I'll bring my bathing suit on my next visit :-D
