Belfast? We call them butler sinks; they're worth a fair few bob according to my grandfather. But maybe not this one...

Yeah I think Belfast and Butler sinks are the same thing... yeah they are worth a bob or two. Shame really, I could have got my hands on about six of them a year or so back.

'Bob' is an slang term for one shilling in old UK money. There were 12d (pence) in one shilling and 20 shillings in a pound.
After the decimal system was introduced here in the 1971 the relevance of the 'bob' kinda disappeared. It has no value now, just a slang term used for money.
