  First you want to reconect the exhaust so it doesn't sound like a tank when you do get it going, then you want to look at those exposed and rusted valves. And while your at it maybe you should do something about the tree growing in the engine compartment.

  So it doesn't sound like a tank? Now why would he not want that? cars sound AWESOME without exhaust. Loud and obnoxious.. but awesome.
