Several concrete covered spray foam over steel frame domes in the desert. There is one single dome, and the other three are as if domes were joined together, looking like 3 huge concrete caterpillars.

1 dome, 3 series of 4-5 connected domes, "the caterpillars". Foundations for 3 more "caterpillars" that were never completed. Claimed that Satanic rituals are held there. Claimed to be haunted. The unusual buildings receive a lot of interest from people interested in the supernatural and have been featured on the Travel Channel television show “Ghost Adventures.” Episode 143 aired on 3.26.2016.

The buildings were erected in 1982 for a computer hardware business that never materialized. Lonnie Mikkelsen, who worked on a construction crew that built the domes, told PinalCentral earlier this year that the domes were erected like an upside down swimming pool, with 3" of spray foam around a big balloon. They were then covered with a concrete. 4.23.2021 - Despite raze orders, the domes are shockingly still standing. It is assumed the raze order is in appeals. The largest of them, comprised of 5 connected domes, is mostly collapsed.
