| | | Hey I usually use Nullality as my musical moniker so I chose to use it for my photography. I found a love for exploring officially a couple of months ago when I came across some of Miamis abandoned areas in the art districts. I tend to go out alone with my girlfriend, though I've taken my brother (who's a minor and for that reason alone not my favorite person to go out with). I like going alone because I know I don't have to worry about anyone else but I don't think I'd turn down an offer or enjoy go through a really shitty area alone. Would love some opinions towards some of my photos (I've got some gritty HDR too) Planning on blowing some of these up and maybe transferring some to canvas in the future. http://nullality.snapixel.com (or http://snapixel.com/people/nullality for the non portfolio view) Also if anyone is interested in my music feel free to check out my Homepage or Soundcloud looking forward to exploring the boards more and checking out the database.

This will probably get moved, but just so you know there is a regional forum (map clicky thing) so you can post things in the region you are in and hook up with fellow explorers and such. You have a lot of good photos on your site but I don't like your HDR, actually I hate HDR altogether (my opinion) and I think you won't get any warm and fuzzies from too many people on here with HDR (as most people that I know hate it as well). Not a fan of that music genre either, not saying it's bad but it's not for me. With that being said Welcome to UER.

| | | HDR is good done in subtlety. thing with your pics is that it doesnt look like you tonemapped them. did you just save the unprocessed version? i would go back and tweak them a lil more until you get good mid tones without too much black. i like the skyline picture the best. as i said just tweak it a lil more and blur out some of the dust spots in the sky

| | | My opinion is the first one is way, way overdone. Totally blown out and the colors are nightmarish. The compo isn't all that bad though. I'd try redoing it from the originals again and try to tone it down a little. Second one's not totally bad. A little overdone. You do have a decent sense of composition. Third one's the best of the set, but as stated before there's some dust artifacts that could use retouching. I like it though.
Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy. -George Carlin (1937 - 2008) |

| | | I tend to like lomo style shots. Gritty and Dirty. I know a lot of people like their HDR as clean as can be and I've seen some that over saturate everything to shit. People have wide ranges of opinions on HDR (Photographers just generally hate it hehe) Thanks again guys.
