Under the Macdonald Bridge

Went down along the train tracks; sadly it was high tide and didn't get into the old boat as much as I'd have liked.
There's another slightly submerged wreck which I want to photograph. It's in the middle of the inlet, and you can see it at low tide.
Here are some of the pictures I took; tomorrow I plan to skip school and go on another expedition to the military housing complex by the new bridge.

Also, could anyone tell me what this building is?
It looks pretty deserted; thanks.

I think that building is part of the Navy, pretty sure it's not abandoned. Nice shots. Be careful around Shannon Park.

What's bad about Shannon Park?

If you get to close you could be held at gunpoint by MP's.

I've gone inside twice now, and have had no problems. First time I saw a police car leaving the general vicinity, but not from inside the fenced area.

I heard that some people were in there playing paintball and the MP's basically told them they couldn't be in there for that, please leave or consequences will follow.

There is an archived (I believe) story on UER about MPs drawing guns on and detaining some explorers. IIRC, they had a cap gun or something, so there were extenuating circumstances... But the MPs weren't nice about any of it.

That building belongs to this facility:
Dockyard Annex
Which is the former Fort Duncan

I was there with a former roommate of mine once, his ship was docked there and he had to go down and pick something up. Also my brother in law was instructing navy classes in one of them buildings, they're just classrooms and living quarters etc.

Mostly used as a storage facility these days - when ships go into refit they have to offload pretty much everything that's not nailed down, this is one of the places where it's stored.

Trespassing on DND land is serious business... Apparently even if it is a run-down, mostly abandoned housing complex...
