yeah, actually there is a window on the North West side of the building, first floor; you'll need a crowbar and some wire cutters, something to hold the window open with (I've always used a thick black marker. It fits the best, and will definitely hold the window open,) and some ski masks.

You need to get the crowbar under the bottom left corner of the trim, and pry open (hanging on the crowbar works best) 1-2 inches, then you can push it up and cut the thin wire mesh that blocks the window from the inside. This is the only broken window you can do this with, so be sure you've got the right one. It's on the corner facing west. They replace it every time they've found a breakin, so don't worry about making the mesh look nice.

No.
I've seen the building used as recently as May. Without an EMP bomb, lockpicks, and some magic, you won't get in without the cops being notified of a break in. It's not actually abandoned, you should go scout shit yourself - seriously.

I did go and scout it out and from what I could see which wasn't much being that I have a 1 year old daughter and no babysitter, I wasn't sure because some places are easier then they look, so I was just asking.

So you left your daughter alone while you went to look at a possible abandonment?
Whatever, spare me your tales of hardship and suffering.

It's really not hard to pass by once and see that it's where the cops park when they're sitting around, it's well lit and has no cover, and that the building has power and is obviously not abandoned.

I'm sure that if you still really wanted to get in, with a little modification, my crowbar idea would work.

Went by there a few weeks ago. Definitely not abandoned. I also asked a friend who is a nurse if she knew anything about it and she said that they still use part of it.

No, what I was getting at is I was doing my best to see while driving by. I have no tales of hardship and suffering I am simply saying its something I love to do but something thats not super easy with a baby. I also drove by at night so it was hard to tell if it was being used or not.

At any rate thanks for the suggestions.

Try it with 3 kids. Sometimes i miss only having 1 child. Things were so EASY back then.

Um, I think you missed the point: The point is, everyone has work, lives, responsibilities, that otherwise occupy our time, and some have it harder than you. Kids or not, UE is not ever "super easy" (I'm quoting you there) and you do have to go out there and, you know, do shit yourself - actually take risks.

I have a whole host of medical issues and concerns which makes UE vastly more difficult, challenging or even dangerous at times, however, I still go out there and take precautions/make arrangements as necessary so I can still do it.

Frankly, no one cares about your kid or my seizure disorder - go do stuff yourself, and take care of the logistics in private and don't bog people down with the details, which quite frankly, come off as excuses.

So far, your all your posts are "Hai guyz look wut I saw on teh tv or near my house zomg kewl how do you get in?" If you were asking for tips about gear or picking certain locks or ideas or whatever, that would be different. Instead, it seems like you're just asking people to do your homework for you, and making excuses for why you can't or won't do it yourself or why you deserve some sort of free pass.

For what its worth, I've talked to other members, and the consensus is that you're really not very liked, and its because of the reasons I've mentioned. So, I figured I'd clue you in on why you're catching flack, and how to avoid it.

Its just not that hard: Use some common sense, scout locations you're interested in, do your own research, DEAL with the logistics however you need to (otherwise, it sounds like whining) and GO AT LEAST TRY STUFF. Sometimes locations suck, sometimes they're great, sometimes you end up in jail. That's part of the package with UE. If you can't deal with that, you should try a different hobby.

Good luck.

i'm guessing this is directed at mrs.marni (since i've met dave personally and he's on my UE all-star team), and i'll echo that sentiment.

i've noticed a lot of people around here asking for handouts lately...let me state this as clear as I can.

I DO NOT GIVE HANDOUTS. PERIOD.

If you want to get into something new, either do what the rest of us do and put in some leg work, or at the very least make an effort to explore with someone who's done said leg work. A quick way to make people on this board not like you is to pull this "HAY GUISE HOW DO I HAS GATES LOLOL" shit.

i've put a lot of time and effort into getting into the shit i've gotten into, and while i acknowledge that a lot would not have been possible without some of the people on this board, there's a way to go about asking for help, and recently, it seems a lot of the noobs have forgotten this.

I am sorry to you all I am not trying to be a pain in the ass, I'm really not. I don't want anyone to not like me, so I will stop posting this stuff and there are a ton of places I wanna go that I have done my research on that aren't on tv at all. But I won't post these again for now I will comment untill I get my explore up. I apologize again.

You've gotta be at least a level 12 explorer to be asking for tips and stuff. Just kidding - posting more about where you've been instead of starting a thread about how to get into somewhere is generally more acceptable. Good luck.

actually i have been inside the hospital, it is freaking amazing i'll post pics later its off limits now. I explored the abandonded psychiatric facility, it was super creepy especially at night. Points of interest were the attic, the few rooms with padding still, various other rooms and oh yeah the super creepy basement where they tested on monkeys. The cages are still there and it reeks of ass. Its an active construction site though and, recently they erected a fence over it. The entire thing is not abandoned though, they are slowly transferring it somewhere, but its planned to be demolished into a mini mall or something.

yeah i used the window, typically the window is always the best bet. And even if you have to use brute force which i have managed to avoid for the most part its better to use it forcing a window open as opposed to smashing it open.

i wouldnt try to get in now, not unless you feel like cutting the fence, and such. There is an active security guard in the other part they are cleaning out, its just some old dude that sits in front of the cctv monitor. But they recently fenced off the whole place. There is always some type of secrutity patrol as well and cops are usualy stationed infront of the active part.

That building is now demolished; Luna and I drove by it the other day.
