really? are you sure it was the psychiatric hospital? last time i saw it up close was maybe 2 months ago i would have imagined it would have taken them longer seeing as they have been there for i dont know 2 years at least now?

The shit to the south and west are not demolished yet, and there doesn't seem to be any pre demo operations going on for those. The popos also like to chill on that stretch of road west of the property between the active/unused parts.

i pass by it almost everyday but i cant see it because other buildings are in the way, but i'll take your word on it. Have you been to the other buildings? i found a over head projector in the trash outside one of them and i turned it into a lcd projector, i occasionally show pyrated movies in the park! and it was definitely trash, i found it in roughly 6 inchs of stagnant rain. I never quite got rid of the stagnant rain smell, or the surprised feeling you get when something that definitely shouldn't work, works. Overall i had a lot of good times at the hospital, i am going to miss it tons. i see cop cars chilling by the entrance to the only active part i know of, which is the bus stop not exactly sure where cops themselves are. I don't recall them patrolling the inactive parts but if they bothered to erect a fence after god knows how many years of construction now i'm sure they could easily implement some type of patrolling scheme.

hey man i just drove by this today i noticed a demolished part by the 7 11 on colorado but the psychiatric facility i had in mind is still there, as for the pyrate radio/theater we are currently under hiatus for the time being, our antenna is compromised and the projector itself needs some tweaking. A few people i know are planning on making a student zombie movie though so i plan on becoming operational by then at least.
as for the fencing, i over estimated how close to the hospital itself it actually is, i cant believe i forgot about that, its just a perimeter fence. Its still risky business to me seeing as how they didnt have it like 6 months ago and i have good feeling i know why it was suddenly erected.

oh i have a friend who lives nearby as well, and i'm not awfully far away myself. He has told me interesting stories i dont care about sharing on the internet. And i actually found a green x or a marked window i cant remember which that was open.

oh i forgot to mention this in the last post, my friend mentioned the entire hospital is connected by some tunnel, i never found out if this was true after all and the most likely place i found that would be a tunnel that connects to other buildings was asbestos contaminated so i didn't bother with that, and by the time i had even reached this point it was roughly 9pm and i had spent more then 12 hours exploring
I'm still awfully curious as to how the rest of the hospital looked like, i think i mentioned before i am a training traceour, and while i was scaling the side of a building i noticed a very interesting lab set up i think i have pictures of that.

That is the building with the big turbines or ac units or whatever they are on them, near the parking structure across from the VA.
Now I just need to see if any of those keys I have work on the outside doors.

dude, get on it but be careful! i live next to lowry and i waited too long to ever see some of the really cool places that have been demolished for shitty uniform homes and what not. Ive been in the phyke ward before which was very amazing but Id still want to explore the rest of it. I'm very worried by the new fences and other extra secruity measures they may have taken recently though and i think most of the buildings may even still have electricity and i know theres cctv somewhere i just dont know where the cameras are theres some old dude in one of the buildings who just sits in front of a monitor

mabey, it would have to be behind my parents back, but it is near my freinds house, so it shouldnt be that hard. but if you are near rosedale twomorrow, my partner andi are trying to explore that.

I have a friend who lives nearby, and I'm not incredible far myself. All of my exploring buddies are busy all the time now so I guess I need to make new ones =/
