| | | You fucking idiots and your rules. What I would say is learn these rules, understand the "gold standard" of photography, and after getting your chops taking technically perfect photos, go out of your way to break them. Not out of spite, but to make it interesting. What are your motivations, is it to document or to generate narrative, or are you utilizing the imagery to build upon a mixed media work? There are very few people's photos on this site that would ever be considered interesting by the world of fine art. Aren't we past the limitations of movements in photography? As for this architectural standards of photography, that's if you are working in that field where you are exposing the function of the structure. Therefore, it makes no fucking sense to: A ) Apply it to structures which have no function B ) Subject matter that has no relevance to industry, real estate or production. | | | These are great pictures, especially for flash! I'm not a fan of flash photography at all, but I really like these. The watermark is obnoxious though. Make it smaller and simpler. No need for fancy text effects.

How are you going to come in here calling anyone an idiot about anything? This is the advice we were all giving. No one said to continuously take pictures like a robot. There are things you need to focus on when shooting architecture weather it is as a career or for enjoyment and to disregard that is just being ignorant. .....or how about taking pics the way you like them? I love the pics. The only thing i dont agree with are the angles of some of the shots being taken from the standing up position looking down. Youve gotta get down on your knees sometimes for those not so typical views. T-Staff, next time post in the UE Photography category so Ryan cant blast someone for not following protocol. STFU Ryan!

Every post about photography you have is a broken record. You have your fav. aesthetic choices, which are boring. I also slipped your mom the tongue. Plus, I have REALLY awesome pics of your and micro's shameful lovechild. You see where i'm going with this? [last edit 1/13/2009 7:47 PM by DjMalign - edited 1 times]

I shoot buildings from a documentary standpoint so when they are gone there is record of them. I have two valid points I will make and then I am done with this argument with you 1.You look like you just stepped out of a hot topic like your getting ready to go to a fucking mudvayne concert. 2.Look at the videos on your website. You are worthless.
