^An example of a great portrait. Next time try getting the couple to hold that pose and take a few more shots, expose and uderexpose then merge them in photomatix. You'll get the full range of the photo and their love, making it very real. Keep trying, you're getting better. PS add me to your contacts on Flickr plz.

I am disappointed you have not harnessed the crutch power of selective desaturation in these photos. Certainly it would be an excellent addition to your repertoire.
