Is there a specific term for walking on railroad tracks? I've been thinking about doing it (the track paths in Norwich are AMAZING) but it's been bothering me. I personally think it should be an extension of UE. If it isn't already.

Also, consider train-hopping, which is currently high on my to-do list.

In the UK, trespassing & vandalising on the railway is a criminal offence which carries a fine of up to £1,000. Graffiti is also a serious crime which can result in a prison sentence. It's something the BTP are really clamping down upon.

Me and my friends walked down this old rail track from Harbor Park to the Middlesex Gas Treatment plant (2 miles), and we saw 3 people, 2 cops, one was some worker guy on a ATV, or something. The railroad I'm talking about has a State Property sign slightly hidden by some bushes. We were freaking out when we came back and saw that. So, I'm pretty loose on the rail track law.
It should also be noted that the cops in Middletown are pretty much all corrupt bastards, who could really give less of a crap about the law...
