| | | I haven't gone yet. Everytime I make plans to go something comes up. I'm going over there after work on Friday though. I've heard rumors that the caretaker has permanently left his post.

| | | I was out there again on 11.09.08 and the caretaker has definitely pulled up camp and boned out. The southern gate was wide open.

| | | Some motivation for ya'll to get out there and do this. This place is/was the easiest backup place when I was out there.
Whatever you do though, don't scare the birds. Nothing alerts the neighbors more than thousands of pigeons flying out of the building all at once...

| | | Trotter Park in Goodyear AZ. I had not been to the forums until today. I can definitely tell you that the care taker is still watching over the property. I was out doing some aerial photography today and was stopped by the police when leaving. The caretaker had called the police, I had Buckeye and Goodyear PD both stop me. No problem, just a stern don't come back from the officers. I got to meet the caretaker who explained that there are 65 no trespassing signs on the property. He tells of kids and graffiti and the numerous times he has had to paint over it. I have been driving past this location for decades. Today I just wanted to take some aerial photography. It was a bit windy so my video was not the greatest. Based upon the care takers reaction to my visit I won't be returning. Be careful if you venture out. Aerialphotos@mspcnet.com Thanks

Aerial Photography? Stopped while leaving? That doesn't really make much sense. Just another reason to be careful what you post here folks. [last edit 12/2/2008 3:00 AM by Wilk - edited 2 times]

| | | Can I ask why you think that aerial photography and stopped by the police does not make much sense???? I was using a r/c airplane to do aerial photography. When I landed and was leaving I was stopped by the police. My post on these forums was to warn others.

| | | It doesn't make sense because unless you hopped the fence then the police would tell the caretaker to cram it. In which case you should have been more careful if there was fence hopping aloof. Having an RC plane is almost like being a spy. You should have just positioned a unsuspiciously large brown box next to the road and hid underneath ;) Got a site for your photos?
Welcome to UER though, don't feed the photographers peeling paint.

| | | Sorry for the accusation desertslowstick, I didn't stop and think that aerial photography could be done with an R/C plane. I was just being naturally cautious, that was after all your first post. [last edit 12/5/2008 2:46 PM by Wilk - edited 1 times]

probably, he said above that there were no-trespassing signs. Unless they were some kind of hover signs. Isn't technology rad. [last edit 12/5/2008 9:04 PM by Iscran - edited 1 times]
