| | | I'm glad that you think about first place to go,SiMuLaCrUm Just find a place which isn't too far from your home. Of course, you'll need somebody who is experienced at UE.

| | | i thought this was a rookie forum, y'know there are no stupid questions and all that? anyways: good places to start off in my opinion are abandoned houses, and riding on your bike to the location is a lot better (not to mention discreet) than pulling up in your car. If your into active exploration try the local mall. I find the "i'm looking for the restroom and i really gotta go bad!" excuse gets you out of most situations when you are unfortunate enough to get caught.

| | | My point is that you need to have an interest and some initiative to do any of this. The original post is like joining a car mechanics' forum and saying, Hey, I think it's cool that you guys work on cars and stuff. I'm new to this but I'm really interested in getting involved. What makes cars go?
If you don't know already, then maybe you're not in the right place.

| | | I started by having a friend who talked me into going into these buildings. Fears of mine are as follows: Spiders, abandoned buildings, heights, and getting arrested... Now I kind of don't give a shit.

| | | You know I kind of agree with everybody else that if you have to ask where to look or where to start, then maybe you don't have an explorative spirit. Maybe you do though and just chose the wrong words on your first post. If that's the case, whoa nelly, I feel bad for you! I've always loved exploring, finding little places that nobody knows of, places to hide when I was a kid was a big thing, so I knew of all the cool places! It doesn't have to be big, just something that you find interesting, and take pictures, lots of pictures!

| | | So we are clear; the best way to explore is to explore and the best place to start is at the start. Case closed!
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
