I'm sure there are more than a few folks here that would love to tag along.
This summer will most likely be the end of new finds on Battle Mountain, so I'll need some new mines to see after the Mill has been thoroughly documented.
Since you're a miner, maybe you can tell me what is going on at the Sherman Tunnel? I haven't been able to go there recently.

You're just full of all kinds of cool information, huh?
I'd really like to see those workings someday. You make it sound like they're mothballed like Climax has been. Do they plan to reopen someday or just trying to prevent ecological damage?
I may PM you about some other mines in the area if you don't mind my asking.

Let me/everybody know what you've got in store for us and we'll organize something this summer!
A few of us were supposed to take a tour of the Henderson mine this spring, but I haven't heard from the guy in months...

its not mothballed its more to prevent ecological damage then anything . They are planing on reopening the Climax some time soon I was up there last summer doing some reclaim work on the Stork Level and last i heard they where going to move some of the Henderson crew to the Climax to start reopening everything

I bet setting a date at least three weeks in advance would be a good idea; when would everyone like to do this? I'm free Sundays and Mondays, but can request another day off if needed.

I never know when I'm working. As for transportation, I wouldn't mind driving. I can a small Hyundai but could easily fit four other people in it.
