The guy who's building it has been working on it since the 60's. He's done it all by hand and alone (from what I've heard and what the signs say). He's currently building the moat!

Jim is a hoot to talk to, but he is a serious nutjob, He no longer lets folks in the castle at night, he has numerous cameras on site and he likes his right to bare arms, and will come after you with a gun. It is a better idea to go in the day, its free and you might be lucky enough to hear Jim talk politics, just dont take it personally when he starts to scream at you, he will most likely calm down... Go and see it, but do so during the day.

I've often wondered if this ever got finished or the guy just abandoned the whole idea or what happened. Kinda surprised he is still alive and working on it.
