I personally don't care who someone has met, or explored with, the fact is, meeting someone once and going exploring once, can't possibly judge a person. Especially when ( I will use YOU as an example ) joined 1/15/2007 and got FM status 1/20/2007.

Sorry but people don't take kindly to that, that have worked their ASS off with posts, and UE BD Entries.

Read the rules, here they are, don't argue with me, argue with the rules posted that aren't being followed:

And for the record, this isn't a shot at Sarabellum, I like her, she is a cool mod, and I am sure she had her reasons. Doesn't mean I have to agree with them

The Rules of how to get FM status:

How can I move to Full Member Status?
If you've been around for a while and have participated in UE-related discussions, you can request consideration for Full Member Status by clicking here.
Tip: If you have very few posts, or most of your posts are in "Other" or are off topic, you probably won't get Full Member Status.

If you are new to the site and haven't posted anything, don't ask for Full Member Status right away. You will most likely be denied since we have no way to know who you are until you post for a while. If you're denied you can re-apply in a month.

If you're a Full Member already and know someone who should be, you can find a link in their profile to recommend them, or Click here for the list of pending requests and tell us more about people you know.

Why are you guys hatin' on the ladies? wahhhwahhwahh.
Go out meet people and explore with them. If they like you they will recommend you/approve you (if they are a mod).

We don't have a mod anywhere near here right now...
Now I have been on the board awhile, and my request for him was denied.

too long didnt read...

I kid, I kid.
Again, bud, I did NOT ask for full membership. I met up with Sara we explored, hung out, and there were poptarts & cars stuck in mud involved.. My point in my post was stop whining because you think girls get full membership easier. Also i have contributed to the DB, the forum, and in chat. So go suck up to your higher powers, plz k.thx.bye.

For the record, Bellez explored with me and I recommended her for full membership. She actually IM'd me on AOL and we spoke and set up a time to get together. It takes some effort some times, and she made it. It is possible to get FM that quickly. In my opinion, she did "work" her ass off. She looked through the member data base for people in her area and contacted them. So see, the rules were being followed. Bellez explored with a FM, and I in turn told Sarabellum she was cool and should get FM.

And I will comment on FM request all the time. If I have seen post and content contributed by a new member that looks that they would be a good add, I am very quick to recommend that person for FM. I have even driven many miles to meet up with explorers so that they can get that next step.

There are variations of the rules, just because they do not necessarily fit into your precise situation is no need to put a downer on the whole thing.

The one thing I have gathered from reading this thread so far is that there are a lot of things to consider. In the end it doesn't come down to one specific thing that gets you FM. It comes down to a combination of a lot of smaller doings.

I will say that knowing, meeting and exploring with the right people will help your cause.

It kind of sucks that it took a bitchy post for people to really react to any of my threads. Har har.

So like, I guess I'll just hang around for a while. I'm not sure if I should reapply for full membership or not. For now I'm just going to leave it.

The FM system isn't set in stone. Some people get in easier, some harder. There are no concrete rules or numbers (like minimum postcount or age of account).

It's based entirely on who you know, which moderator you choose, which mod actually ends up processing your app (usually the one you chose), an analysis of your posts, post frequency, post signal-to-noise ratio, any websites or external resources you have, recommendations, strikes, and more.

Obviously it's much easier to get FM if you know someone. Either you know someone going in, or you meet someone later on. I believe that our FM system is much more open and inviting than the system found on most other websites of this type, where ONLY approved members are allowed in, and you MUST know someone to get in.

I looked at your profile, funker, and it looks like you're a good guy, but both of your denials were by the same mod. Perhaps try reapplying with a different mod? Also, it's best to have as many recommendations as possible. You had two, and they mainly said "he seems nice" -- which isn't much to go on.

The absolute best thing a person in your position could do is post as many UE-related posts as possible. Photos, information, stories, this is what we like to see.

I hope this has been helpful to you.

I feel your pain. I pop in every few months. Send in another request and then check back in a few days to see if I've been denied....again. Read a couple posts, make a few replies. Then I go out exploring more on my own and life goes on. Just this weekend went to a really cool place, one of the best I've been to. So I'm going to ask for full membership again and see if I get approved before posting pictures of it.

I found a old movie set about this time last year when I actually thought I could become a full member by going out and exploring instead of posting on the internet and I posted one picture of it. I even jumped through some of the hoops and rated some things in the part of the DB I could see and made some comment. I had people literally begging to see more but alas I was denied again so I keep them to myself. I keep exploring, filling up hard drives with pictures, trying out new things (like aerial photograph with my R/C plane) and life goes on.

What the hell...Have you ever met up with anyone here on the site to vouch for you? Really, nobody cares if you pop in every few months. We need people to be active here. You dont need full member to post pics of a place. You are going about getting full membership in reverse.

FM means you get to see things others don't. It matters on the site for that reason only. Otherwise it don't mean shit. And I'm with Funker Joe. I assumed he was already. Seems like a straight shooter and I don't even know him. Hell I just visit CO and the guy seems to know his shit. It is true some people get it in 2 min. and some.......are still waiting. I've seen some people that IMHO should never have even gotten close, but it's not my call. And I didn't take your post as whiny. I took it as stating an opinion/fact. You got my vote if that means anything. But I'm so old school it might not either.

well, if it helps your plight at all, I had to blow my way into becoming a full member, and then did a round robin gangbang at a UER meet to maintain my status. It was tough work, and I was a sport about it, but boy did it wipe me out. I couldnt walk for days, and my lips were beyond chapped!

But it was worth it, the FM access to the database is incredible, there are so many neat locations, and it pinpoints where the underground lairs are, where the altars can be found, it has maps where to attach your grappling hooks to certain locations, it has lists of the timing of the camera sweeps, when the security goes to the potty, what kind of treats the K-9 unit dogs enjoy most, what the best signal noises are to make if you see trouble coming, and how to do the UER handshake and gang symbol- all illustrated in an easy to follow step by step format.

You also receive a complimentary DVD containing the latest stealth and combat techniques including but not limited to: The human bush, the scorpion, the silent owl, the reverse elephant, the donkey punch, the live brick wall, the security camera shake, the po-po waltz, the third rail juke, the scrapper scrap, the squatter dropkick, the barbed wire boogie, the cleveland steamer, the tetanus flip, the asbestos facial, the shatterless window, and last but certainly not least...the dirty sanchez!

Good luck
