Going Inactive

Well, I've been on the forums here for a while trying to get full membership trying to jump through hoops so I can view the full database. Even after I was requested by 2 full members who are active on the forums I was denied for a second time.

good afternoon, i have to inform you that your request for full membership has been denied, there is simply not enough for us to go on, There are only 2 people who have vouched for you and no one in person, in person becomes important when post quantity is this low, please keep active and re apply at a later date.

I was hoping to clear up credit issues for my website on who found what and the first recorded names of the systems but it looks like that won't happen. I have too much shit going on like moving and going to college to post on forums with the hopes of getting into some VIP club on here.

On top of that, I made a thread about Gates recently that apparently was already posted, but I wouldn't know that because the thread is apparently hidden. Now maybe if I could see some more threads I would have an interest in posting more. I guess I could have just gone through every thread and posted "lol, yeah" to everything to boost my post count.

So not that anyone really cares, I'm going inactive and I probably won't be on here anymore. You can keep in touch with me on my website or my email: joe@denverdrainers.org

So long.

If it's any consolation, I think you should become FM because it's obvious from your website that you're a drainer and that you get out to do it frequently.

Maybe the moderators here should take things like this into consideration more than "post quantity" and/or amount of time spent in the chat channel talking about cars and WoW.

Dude, Full membership is NOT anything special. You get to see a handful of more locations in the DB, but thats about all that comes with it. Best of luck in the future dude. Peace

Totally agree

To me, being an active explorer carries a lot weight. I know plenty of people who are just post whores and that's about it. In my eyes, that is NOT what this is all about.

It's interesting to see how many people believe I should get full membership based on my explorations and yet I have been denied 2 times.

My friend who I got into UE is on here and has less posts than I do and is a full member because he went to one meet up in person. Also as I said, I'm interested in:

a) giving credit to those who deserve it on my website so I don't appear to be claiming i was the first ever to many of these drains or anything

b) it would be nice to explore some systems I have not done yet as well as seeing what people thought about other systems and just check out photos

Someone above stated that full membership doesn't add much. However, looking at the locations in Colorado I know for a fact that there are several drain systems not available to view without full membership because I have been to them. We're talking huge ones that anyone can easily find. I don't buy for a second that it doesn't add much.

So if any of you feel the need to request full membership for me, please do so. This post wasn't meant to stir up drama on teh internets, but sadly it's already getting me to post more than any of the other threads I have viewed.

Well all I know is that people that have done a LOT less, been here for a lot less time and have 0 to minimal post counts are getting FM status within 2 weeks of being here. Maybe it's because you have a penis.

This doesn't really seem to make sense. You want to get full membership, but you don't want to stick around and try anymore? Even as a basic member, this site offers so many resources, hence the name UER. I've been denied full membership as well but hell, I appreciate what this site has to offer, even if I'm not considered a full member.

My rank on a UE website does not make me better or worse at UE and photography.

Why are you guys hatin' on the ladies? wahhhwahhwahh.

I didn't even ASK for full membership.. Go out meet people and explore with them. If they like you they will recommend you/approve you (if they are a mod). If you can't go out and meet people then contribute to the forums and see what happens. You might just get FM. If you don't, really what are you missing? A random other forum & a few locations in the DB you could find for yourself?

One word.. Poptarts! There are those that know what I mean, LOL.

Seriously though, hang around a while! Don't just take your toys and go home. We are all pretty accepting of folks after a while. PM a few people and just talk!

Hate to see you go away, especially in a huff.

I personally don't care who someone has met, or explored with, the fact is, meeting someone once and going exploring once, can't possibly judge a person. Especially when ( I will use YOU as an example ) joined 1/15/2007 and got FM status 1/20/2007.

Sorry but people don't take kindly to that, that have worked their ASS off with posts, and UE BD Entries.

Read the rules, here they are, don't argue with me, argue with the rules posted that aren't being followed:

And for the record, this isn't a shot at Sarabellum, I like her, she is a cool mod, and I am sure she had her reasons. Doesn't mean I have to agree with them

The Rules of how to get FM status:

How can I move to Full Member Status?
If you've been around for a while and have participated in UE-related discussions, you can request consideration for Full Member Status by clicking here.
Tip: If you have very few posts, or most of your posts are in "Other" or are off topic, you probably won't get Full Member Status.

If you are new to the site and haven't posted anything, don't ask for Full Member Status right away. You will most likely be denied since we have no way to know who you are until you post for a while. If you're denied you can re-apply in a month.

If you're a Full Member already and know someone who should be, you can find a link in their profile to recommend them, or Click here for the list of pending requests and tell us more about people you know.
