| | | Posted by Timothy R. Pendergast I picked up the Myo XP from EMS yesterday. It's great and eliminates the issue of the battery pack causing slippage down the back of the head.

pendergast!! nice name haha, any relation to the Kansas City mob boss? that guy gave us a gold mine of undocumented tunnels all over the city here to find.

exactly why this comes with all those rubber guards and a shoulder strap xD the real bitch about this thing is though, if you run out of power on the rechargeable batt inside it, the other option is the 20 cell CR123 batt holder, and surefire owners know that just two is expensive enough, let alone 20 of them.

| | | AVE... Thanks, but I would rather stay with my classic torch, bag of candles and few boxes of matches... Anyway, $5000 for a flashlight is just a waste of money... But if someone on this forum would like to buy it, pay me and I will illuminate your way with my torch and flamethrower...

| | | 20 CR123A? That is crossing the line for using disposable batteries. At that level, you should be considering rechargeable pack. This is like making a big series-parallel pack of AA batteries to run your laptop....

Yeah, but who's going to carry the car battery it draws from? The other one still wins.

we mod Thor lights into HID's with the bulb/ballast from a bmw 7 series. it gets a good 1.5-2 hours out of the 2 sealed lead acids it comes with. we also have a similar, though not as well built, HID flashlight to this surefire which uses Lith-ion and gets about the same.
