| | | i like gloves. they are warm, they shield you from good old scat, and they are generally good. but, i have snow gloves, but those are excessively bulkey and warm. i have work gloves but they are large to prevent blisters and whatnot, so they have almost no dexterity. so does anybody have a reccomendation for some gloves that provide dexterity, have a good grip, and are rather skin-tight if you know what i mean. alright thanks Wes

| | | I really don't use gloves while out having fun.. but at work, I wear a good set of mechanic's gloves. They are great for securing loads, handling chains and binders, straps, and for climbing up on and off of my trailer. Any brand should suit your needs.

| | | I know most explorers don't use gloves but I attempt to have them around all the time. Case in point sueplex. I think myself and maybe one other person were the only people with gloves. You hang around alot of chemicals, sharp rusty objects, bird shit etc. I'll take the chances with the cops asking about my gloves over picking up bird flu, or getting tetnis. Just my .05

| | | I used to use a great pair of black leather skin tight gloves I "borrowed" from my mother, but now they're too small. Nice though, if you can find a pair. I could pick up a quarter from a flat tabletop with those. Army-surplus stores tend to have nice, somewhat thin/tight leather gloves. Like the ones the Russian's always slap people with in the cartoons.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |

| | | I have a pair of bicycle gloves that I keep in my UE kit. They have no finger tips so it does not mess with the camera. I also keep a pair of the cheep knit one size fits all to wear over top when it gets cold. In the summer I normally wear none at all unless it is a really yucky place and I am climbing or having to touch gross stuff.

| | | Usually when things get a little colder and I need some gloves, I will wear a pair of Fox Racing motocross gloves. Mostly just because I already have them, but they are the only gloves I've really ever been able to wear and still be able to operate a camera. I've been thinking about picking up a pair of these:
They seem pretty good, plus I can use them while I am working on my bikes.

| | | http://www.1sks.com/ they are cheap as hell here.. I've ordered from these guys before, they were damn good, had a little problem with backorders but they get the shit to you as soon as they can.. Personally I wouldn't get the kevlar ones though, kinda overkill

| | | I use Extercation gloves. I used them when i was on the fire department in my last town. Really good for exploring because you can use tools easily, have great movment, keeps your hands warm, and glass doesn't cut them, and nails have a VERY hard time going through them.

On a side note you are one of the few people that has the least chance to get chemicals soaked into your gloves and end up with multi exposure to chemicals.
