| | | Well this coming weekend, me and my buddy are supposed to be going over to start shooting a short film using Forts McNab & Ives. But we're taking his canoe over...saves our money for props and whatnot.

| | | True, but I'm pretty good with balancing a canoe. I'm just worried about the bags getting wet (bags with the props)

| | | it seems like pretty choppy waters though, for a canoe. you can get some waterproof bags at mec, they shouldn't cost too much.

That's what we said about backpacks there, lol, a basic one-strap backpack costed us $75 there. But no worries, I have plenty of ideas on how to waterproof stuff. As for the waters, I have no clue, I've never been out on the harbour with a canoe before. My plan was to walk across the sand bar from McCormick Beach in EP to Lawyer Island, then launch the canoe from Lawyer, and take between 10-30 minutes to get to Hangman's Beach on McNabs.

Easy, to go MEC pick some cheap waterproof bags and throw the shit that you really CANNOT afford to get wet in them, they don't cost much at all. http://www.mec.ca/...mUID=1178759372950
http://www.mec.ca/...mUID=1178759372951 Better off spending 20 for a waterbag than whatever a new piece of gear costs.

| | | Those dry bags are nowhere close to the size I need them to be. Besides, I know some techniques to keep things waterproof.

| | | It's not JUST for camera use, it's also for the props and stuff like that. We're gonna be using Master Replica FX Lightsabers
