| | | I would be interested in buying such a tool. I'd pay a great deal for it too. I don't know if every model should have bolt cutters, but I do appreciate high quality tools. (My flashlight cost me 200$, it was worth every penny) For anyone who's interested, my flashlight: http://www.planeta...iew-we9traider.htm [last edit 9/6/2005 3:41 AM by uem-Tux - edited 1 times]

Just wondering, and don't take this as a personal attack.. But why the hell did you pay 200 for a flashlight.. the surefire 9P has FAR better output for $75 (although you really don't 'need' a 200 lumen flashlight) and many other fairly bright solid flashlight for alot cheaper? or if you were looking for a rechargeable (which I don't blame you, battery prices start to stack if you use the thing alot.. you would get a surefire 6P with a recharge kit for $140 (although I am maybe missing something I dunno..) I was just wondering, thats all..

| | | Yeah... tux, your flashlight sounds like it wasn't worth it. Surefires are cheaper than that, and they've got the support to back it all up.

| | | Just out of curiosity, when you say $200, do you mean you spent $200 CAD on it? Or USD? I've found several places online where you can get that light for just over $100 USD.

| | | 200 CAD. I bought it directly from the company director, whom a coworker of mine introduced me to, knowing I was the kind of guy who appreciated a good light. At the time, the flashlight was all I needed, and I didn't even have to pay him the 200 bucks for a long while. Even before paying for it, I knew that I'd never give up the light because it just freaking rocks. I'm sure these surefires are great and all, but this light does exactly what I need, I can light up the side of a building or the ground at my feet, it's extremely tough (it has survived a 1 story fall onto concrete completely undamaged), and the batteries are good quality. I had the 200$, so why not buy the light that no one else was going to have? And that's the story of how I came to buy my flashlight. I hope it answers all your questions.
