|  | | | So we make a trip to 3 places that we have never been.
This place was really neat, but after an hour, a scrapper set a fire and we had to go. Felt cheated!
So we go to the next place. Get in unseen, except by 2 scrappers. Having a good photo session and WOW! Those scrappers were burning the plastic off the copper. Filled the Turbine Hall with thick black smoke! Since the park next door was full and it was a clear blue day, we ran out of there. Could not breath either. Only had 1/12 hours in there. Again. cheated!
 See the black smoke filling up the room!
Ok, On to the next place!!! WOW! Someone totally messed with the entrance, so we get into the court yard but we cannot scale the 1 story entrance. Hopeless. Love the outside shots!
Spent time with my hubby and a new friend exploring and we celebrated Jives 20th Birthday! All in a days work!

I am amazed you ran into so many of those types. | | | | No sledgehammers just backpacks and they looked liked they were shooting up when we found them next to the fence opening. We were told later that day by another explorer that fires were also started on Saturday. The day before we went. Would not have gone there if we knew that. Really freaked up out!

There was power and lights on in the plant in offices in front as we walked by. No power in the turbine hall. Guess it was not our day to die the Forgotten Death.
The Hotel was SO Frustrating! The guy in our group got up a tall wall and in the annex that connects to the main building, but the women could not. Nothing there to help in entry. Not sure how the hobos get to live in the penthouse.
Went to an abandoned cemetery close by, sad the oldest cemetery in Philly has not been cared for in at least 6 years!
Long Hot Day!!! We shall return and have better luck, I hope!!!

The power and lights are always on up there but there is rarely anybody actually there. The whole turbine hall and back area is abandoned, the front part is whats in use still.
