Abandoned School & Hospital in MD

Hi Folks,
Had an interesting weekend a couple back. Visited what looks like a specialty school for children and part mental institution. I wanted to share some of my terrible photos.

(...can you tell I want a new camera?)

Yes-suh; that be the place. Good eye.

its normally considered uncool to post access points in an open forum but sometimes its nice to identify what the pictures are of, in my humble opinion

Well, many explorers would argue that it is a pretty terrible idea in most cases. I mean I'm not going to go around posting location names in the forums. But JEEZ-us. Who am I to tell a guy who has the mysterious Elf badge? Carry on. Some places are already so famous and trashed I guess it really doesn't matter.

In places forgotten, tread where you will. -=- http://www.flickr.com/photos/avius/

Yes we stumbled onto one of the "meth rooms"... We tried taking photos in there but the lighting was awful. the whole room was cluttered with fans, a crappy bed, old radio, jugs of water, that kind of thing. Very creepy.

Whew, this place has seen gobtons of traffic this month.

We didn't need a story. We didn't need a real world. We just had to keep walking. And we became the stories, we became the places. We were the lights, the deserts, the faraway worlds. We were you before you even existed.

I'm always interested in meth . Wow I like the old computer though...not the animal below it however. Anyone able to point me in the right direction to that place? I would love to go as long as it's not too far out of the way.

Unless the place is a empty, gutted, scraped, vandalized, and graffiti covered shell of a building posting the name can only hurt it.

the damn thing kinda died in a fire (literally), and hobos make meth there, what walls escaped the fire are completely covered in graffiti, and i dont believe there is anything left to vandalize except used hypodermic needles and old douchebags (actual douchebags not the kids from mtv's jersey shore), so yeah the place is unfortunately, totally, completely and irrecoverably trashed and it makes me very sad, and i hope the people who did it die in a fire.

---edit, and i forgot to mention the scrappers, because they have torn out basically every pipe and piece of metal worth (in their minds) salvaging, including stuff behind brick walls.
